Settings Overview
A map of the whole Settings area, and how its pages relate to each other.
Settings structure
From the left sidebar, open Settings under the SYSTEM group to reveal:
- Modules — the permission-definition registry (see Modules).
- Roles & Permissions, which expands to:
- Client Roles & Permissions — roles for your client portal.
- Roles & Permissions — roles for your internal team.
- General Settings — company profile, branding, security, notifications, admin contact.
- Menus, which expands to:
- Menu — your team's sidebar navigation.
- Client Menu — your client portal's navigation.
A note on “Modules”
The sidebar's Settings › Modules link opens a permission-definition registry: it lists every module and the create/edit/delete/view permission groups available on it, and lets you add new permission groups. It does not have an on/off switch.
A separate Module Settings screen (reached from the “Settings” breadcrumb, or by clicking the “General Settings” sidebar link) shows your tenant's actual business modules (ETA, Drive, Teams, InEx, Billing, Support, and so on) grouped by segment, each with a real Enabled/Disabled status and a Configured/Not configured badge. If you're looking to see what's turned on for your tenant, this is the screen you want.
Permissions required
Every page under Settings is intended for Owner/Admin-level roles. If your account doesn't have the right permissions, the relevant sidebar links won't appear, and direct links will be blocked.
