A formal quote you send before an order exists — with its own lifecycle and its own PDF.
The quotation lifecycle
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being put together, not sent yet. |
| Sent | Emailed to the customer. |
| Viewed | The customer has opened it. |
| Accepted | The customer approved it. |
| Rejected | The customer declined it. |
| Cancelled | Withdrawn on your side, with a reason recorded. |
What's on a quotation
Line items, inline or total-level tax, a discount (percentage or fixed), a validity date, notes, and terms & conditions — plus an auto-generated PDF once it's created.
Tracking your quote pipeline
A stats view shows your quotation funnel — how many are sent, viewed, accepted, or rejected — so you can see your close rate at a glance.
Converting an accepted quotation straight into an order isn't available yet. Once a customer accepts, create the order manually using the quotation's details.
