Assets
The register of fixed assets your company owns.
What is the Assets screen?
Assets is a register of fixed assets your organization owns — equipment, property, and similar items — tracked separately from day-to-day expense categories.
Why does this matter?
Fixed assets aren't ordinary spend — they're things the company owns and depreciates over time, so they're kept in a dedicated register rather than mixed into regular expense categories.
When would I use this?
- Recording a new piece of equipment or property the company has purchased
- Checking the current value of company-owned assets
- Reviewing an asset before it feeds into the Balance Sheet
Before you start
You need access to the Assets screen under Finance → Inex to add or manage assets.
