A visual, customizable funnel for tracking a lead from first contact to close.

What is a pipeline?

A pipeline is a named sequence of stages a lead moves through. Every project gets a default pipeline automatically the first time a lead is added, but you can create additional custom pipelines if you want a different funnel shape for a different product or team.

Stages

Each stage in a pipeline has a name, a color, a position in the order, and can optionally be linked to one of the lead's statuses (for example "Meeting Booked"). More than one stage can share the same status if you want a richer funnel than the status list alone provides.

How a lead moves between stages

There are two ways a lead's stage changes:

• Automatically — when a lead's status changes (for example, moving to "Meeting Booked"), it's moved to whichever stage in its pipeline is linked to that status.
• Directly — dragging a lead's card to a different column on the pipeline board moves it to that stage right away, independent of status.

Managing pipelines

Create additional pipelines, add/edit/reorder their stages, or archive a pipeline you no longer use — all from the pipeline settings screen.
