Performance & Points
A scoring dashboard that ranks your team, plus the rules that drive the score.
What is the Performance dashboard?
This screen shows a running performance score for every employee, ranks them against each other, and lets you add points manually or adjust the rules that award and deduct points automatically.
Why track performance this way?
Instead of a once-a-year review, this gives an ongoing, rule-based score — for example, employees can lose points automatically when a high-priority task or project runs late, and gain points for good performance logged manually.
When would I use this screen?
- Checking who your top performer is this month
- Reviewing pending performance reviews
- Awarding points manually for something noteworthy
- Adjusting the rules that award or deduct points automatically
Before you start
You need access to the Performance screen under Teams. Changing rules affects scoring for the whole team, so this is usually limited to admins/HR.
Reading the dashboard
| Stat | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Team Total Score | The combined score across the whole team. |
| Pending Reviews | How many performance reviews are still waiting to be completed. |
| Avg Monthly Score | The average score per employee for the current month. |
| Monthly Top Performer | The name of the employee with the best score this month. |
Below the stats, the leaderboard table ranks employees by Name, Designation, Employee ID, Today, This Month, Last Month, This Year, Total Score, and Rank.
How to add points manually
- Open Performance
Go to Manpower → Teams → Performance.
- Click Add Points
Click + Add Points at the top of the page and select the employee and the points to award.
How to recalculate scores
Click Recalculate Score to have EnOpSy re-run the scoring rules across the team — useful after you've changed a rule and want it reflected immediately rather than waiting for it to apply naturally.
How Performance Rules work
Further down the page is a Performance Rules table — this is where the automatic scoring logic lives. Each rule has an Event Name, Description, Module it applies to (for example eta for task/project deadlines), an Action Rule, Customised Points, a Formula, an Action Code, a Created At date, and a Status.
| Example rule | What it does |
|---|---|
| Late High-Priority Task | Deducts points when a high-priority task is completed after its due date. |
| Minor Module Delay | Deducts points for a module that's 1–7 days late, after a 1-day grace period. |
| Major Project Delay | Deducts a larger number of points for a project that's 7–28 days late. |
Use Add Rule to create a new scoring rule, or Reset to Default to restore the original rule set.
